To make a postcard we take:
- Watercolor paper 22 cm by 40.5 cm;
- Lilac scrap paper, two sheets measuring 30*30 cm from the “Happy Day” collection;
- Pictures with different flower arrangements, butterflies, Eiffel Tower;
- A congratulation poem printed on a lilac background, as well as a personal inscription “Happy Birthday, Lyudmila!”;
- Cut out elements: Butterflies, flowers, leaves, napkin, hearts all in lilac-violet color;
- Curb hole punch;
- 3-D hole punch butterfly;
- Beige and lilac pearl half beads;
- Lilac lace;
- Satin purple ribbons 3 mm and 5 mm wide;
- Stamens in bouquets are lilac;
- Flower lilac fabric cornflower;
- Center with lilac rhinestones;
- Lilac ribbon 25 mm wide made of satin;
- Paper white and lilac rose;
- Lilac paper hydrangea;
- Glue stick;
- Ink pink pad;
- Thermal gun;
- Double-sided tape;
- Simple pencil;
- Ruler and scissors.
Lay out watercolor paper and divide it into appropriate sizes. We leave the height at 22 cm, and at the top and bottom we divide the width into parts of 15 cm, 15 cm and 10.5 cm. On the right side we divide the side in half, 11 cm each.
Now we connect the upper left corner and connect it under the ruler with the right side in the center. We draw a solid line.
We also connect the upper and lower points under the ruler and draw bend lines. Cut off the top wedge.
Fold in half from right to left, and now again from left to right.
Thus, we have this complex folding base. Cut two strips of tape 25 mm wide.
We glue the back of the base with pieces of double-sided tape. So we will then tie it with a bow. Now we smudge the entire base along all edges with a pad.
Now we take scrap paper and cut two such quadrangles for each side of the card.
Use a border hole punch to make strips from leftover paper. We glue these strips to the top of each quadrangle. Now we take the pictures, the cutting, the poems and the inscription and lay them out into five quadrangles.We simply glue the sixth one with double-sided tape to the back of the card base.
We machine sew all our cuttings. Now we glue all the scrap quadrangles onto the base with double-sided tape.
We sew from the front part, having previously folded, each side of our postcard.
Fold it and tie it with a bow. Now all we have left are the remaining touches, just to glue decor. We make a flower out of lace, punch out butterflies and decorate our card, gluing all the elements with a hot-melt gun.
Done, here is our unusual and beautiful result. The postcard is both delicate and bright. Thank you for your attention! Good luck to all.
