I love LEDs. They are economical, durable, and most importantly very beautiful. And I'm always looking for new ways to use them in new ways. Here's a great way to use two super bright blues, for example: LEDs and tubes 8-10 centimeters long. From these components we will make a tube similar to a neon one. A great way to do computer modding.

The tube must be filled with fluorescent liquid, thanks to which a neon lamp effect can be created. In addition to the above components, we will need a fluorescent marker (can be purchased at most office supply stores)

Dye preparation. Let’s take and disassemble the marker and pull out the paint-soaked rod from it. Let's pass a little alcohol or some alcohol-containing solution, such as cologne, through it. Dilute the resulting concentrate with water. We have obtained a liquid that reflects light well.

Next, cut off the required piece of transparent tube and insert it tightly into one of the ends Light-emitting diode. We pour our liquid into the other end of the tube. For this operation I used a plastic bottle with a pointed neck.Pour the liquid without bubbles and insert another Light-emitting diode.

For complete sealing, you can coat the ends of the tube with LEDs with glue.
The long tube should not be overused, since if you take too long, its middle will glow poorly.

That's it, our glowing tube is ready. Let's check. For this purpose I used batteries - 3 volt tablets.
I experimented quite a lot with colors. LEDs, even took ultraviolet ones and found out: the most effective are blue LEDs. They produce the longest tubes that glow more evenly along their entire length than tubes with other LEDs.

Well, figure out where to use these magnificent glowing tubes yourself. Good luck!

I did something similar, only I used IV tubes and small LEDs.

It’s better to make pipes with ordinary water and it’s not easy, but to make a cooling system with a pump (you can take it from your father’s garage, there’s probably an old gasoline pump there) so that it drives water through the pipes, and then make a backlight

It’s not even bad if you do it, tell me how to do the same only with USB power at night, it’s good to stick it under the table above the keyboard and turn it on at the right time good =))

USB outputs 5.2 volts. You either need to buy a powerful one Light-emitting diode for the same voltage or a little more, or connect 2 or more in series in series, observing the polarity.
