Alkaline batteries last quite a long time, but when their charge drops below one volt they become useless in most devices. Usually such batteries are thrown away. I suggest using battery energy more rationally and making a simple flashlight yourself that will work within 1-0.5 volts. Here is his device.


Please note that it shines quite brightly.
This is a regular converter for super bright LED. It is quite simple and requires a minimum of details.
I will not explain in detail how this converter works; you can find out about this in our previous article, where we made a similar design.
What we need:



The most important element in manufacturing is the transformer wound on a toroidal core. A similar core can be used, with a diameter from 0.5 to 3 centimeters with any magnetic permeability. The main thing is to wind it correctly, look carefully at the pictures.








Wire for winding with a diameter of 0.1 - 1 mm. Any transistor can be used, preferably with a lower opening voltage.

If everything is assembled correctly, the circuit starts working immediately without settings or adjustments. Be careful not to confuse the ends of the windings when connecting.

    Look carefully at the pictures. Take two wires and twist them together in one direction.

    What is not signed for the transistor base collector emitter. and in general, what kind of transistor is it, polar or bipolar?

    The transistor is ordinary, such as KT315 or KT3102. the collector goes to the coil, the base to the resistor, and the emitter obviously goes where.
