Anyone can make such a beautiful, and most importantly simple, mouse pad for a computer mouse. You can't buy this in a store! The pattern can be anything, the color of the backlight too. All homemade products are made from all available materials with your own hands.

We will need plexiglass (can be found in hardware stores), and
a drill or something similar; I had a very old homemade machine.
Also a sketch based on which we will draw.

Drawings for tattoos are great as a sketch.

Then we adjust the size and apply the glass to the drawing.

We engrave.

As a result we get:

Then we install one or more on the glue LEDs, to do this, drill a hole in one of the ends of the glass with a drill or machine and install Light-emitting diode if it is round, then for greater dispersion, carefully cut off the lens, I took one bright one from a computer mouse.

And this is what happened.

In the dark.

And in the light, I think your imagination will tell you the application, for example, I installed it on a computer case.

To somehow animate this rug, I would suggest adding another one Light-emitting diode, let's say green, and connect these LEDs to the multivibrator.

Naturally, powering the entire circuit from USB.

It turns out that the engraving pattern will change color from green to red and vice versa after a given period of time.

I didn’t bother and there are no such transistors, because Light-emitting diode I also took a resistor from the mouse and connected it to the USB port. and here's another one, orders have already begun to arrive smile

Transistors can be absolutely any. If only the brand were the same))

    I really liked the idea!
If only I could come up with a “soft” rug with this musical idea /news/lpt_cvetomuzyka/2010-06-13-241

It was necessary to make a black coating underneath, and LEDs 4 pieces in the corners and MUCH brighter. They'll bring me some plexiglass soon, I'll try it...
