Quickly wash a car, a window at home, clean the grille with a high-pressure jet - nothing is easier when using this homemade mini washer. It runs on a built-in battery and can be used anywhere. Just pour powerful liquid or just water into the bottle and that’s it, the device is ready to use. No wires or electricity are required - which is very convenient.
Compact sizes allow you to take it with you anywhere. The water pump develops a pressure of 0.90 MPa, which is a lot for such a baby.
Will need
- 12V high pressure pump.
- 12V battery.
- Momentary switch.
- Nozzle with fitting for watering the garden.
- Two PVC pipes 75 mm in diameter and 50 mm.
- Two plugs for each pipe.
You will also need a good glue, preferably one based on epoxy resin. The hose is transparent silicone. Wires for connection.
Making a manual mini sink
So, we measure the length of the pump and cut off a pipe with a diameter of 75 mm according to its dimensions.
We measure the distance from the top of the pump to the inlet and outlet pipes. And then at the same distance we drill a hole in the PVC pipe.
In order for the pump to fit, we cut a groove on one side up to the hole with scissors.
We insert the pump.
We remove the pipe.
We take this nozzle with a fitting at the end (these are used for watering the garden):
We put on the hose and cut it.
A large length is not needed, since it will fit directly onto the outlet pipe of the pump.
You need to select an angle adapter for the inlet pipe. But, unfortunately, I didn’t find anything like that.
So I cut off one part from the tee.
And soldered it through a copper cap.
He also puts on a short tube. And insert the other side into the bottle cap. We glue it with glue.
To prevent a vacuum from being created when drawing water, we drill a couple of small holes to allow air to pass through.
We put a hose along the length of the bottle that will be screwed on.
We put the other end on the pump.
This is how it should look.
But the design turned out to be not entirely stable - the bottle shook from side to side. To avoid this, a metal hexagon was glued - a boss - between the body and the lid.
Next, take a 50 mm pipe for the battery and cut it off.
This will be approximately the placement.
Using this distance, we cut the PVC pipe to 20 m. We glue it to the plug.
Drill a hole in another plug.
And glue the second end to it.
We will also drill a hole that was forgotten earlier.
Let's run the wires from the pump through these holes and a small tube.
Let's find the limit switch.
Cut a groove for the button in the battery compartment.
Use hot glue to secure it to the body.
Solder the wires to the button.
Next to the battery connection block.
Install the battery.
We close all the plugs.
We pour water and go test it.
To prevent the nozzle from being knocked out by pressure, tighten the tube with nylon clamps.
The pressure is excellent.You can also draw water from a larger container.
Here's a specific task: cleaning the air conditioner.
Thanks to the powerful jet, all the dirt scatters quickly. In a couple of seconds, the dirty grate turned into crystal white.
So this is a very necessary thing in any household. The battery lasts for 30 minutes of continuous pump operation - that's more than enough!
