Boiled chicken is used in many recipes, and housewives are accustomed to cooking it in a saucepan on the stove. But it often happens that the breast comes out dry, and you need to be nearby all the time, collecting scale and making sure that the broth is clear. But it’s much easier and faster to cook chicken breast in the microwave. The meat comes out tender and juicy in just 10-15 minutes. And there are no problems with scale, it settles on the walls of the dishes, all that remains is to strain the absolutely transparent rich golden broth. Be sure to try it, and you will definitely cook the breast this way.

Ingredients:

  • chicken breast 1 pc. (600 g)
  • water 1 l.
  • turmeric 0.25 tsp
  • salt 0.25 tsp
  • bay leaf 1-2 pcs.
  • allspice 2-3 pcs.

How to prepare juicy breast

Prepare everything you need. Rinse the breast, do not remove the skin, it will make the broth richer. Place the chicken in a suitable sized microwave safe container. Add seasonings and salt.

To fill with water. If you use boiling water, the cooking time will be reduced by a third.

Place in the microwave, cover with a lid or plate. Turn on maximum power, most often it is 800 W, time 12 minutes. Of these, 3 minutes are for boiling the liquid, the rest is directly for cooking. That is, if you take just boiled water, set it for 8 minutes at once.

At the end of the program, leave the breast in the closed microwave for at least another 5 minutes, or better yet longer, until it cools completely. This way the meat will be ready and will additionally absorb some of the aromatic broth.

But when you do it for the first time, it’s better to immediately take it out and pierce it in the thickest place. If clear juice comes out, the breast is ready; if it’s pink, you should turn on the microwave for another minute or two.

Remove chicken from liquid.

Chicken breast in the microwave turns out tender and juicy. The meat can be used for salads, sandwiches, and added to various side dishes. Strain the broth through cheesecloth. It is transparent, rich and very aromatic. If you add chopped vegetables to it and return it to the microwave for a couple of minutes, it will turn out to be an excellent soup.
