This is a very interesting and educational experiment that will appeal especially to novice electronics engineers. It will clearly and simply show how you can transfer electricity from one coil to another without wires, and almost without the electronics themselves.
This device can be used to temporarily charge a mobile phone with contactless charging function.

Experiment: Wireless transmission of electricity

We take any frame with a diameter of 5 - 7 cm and wind 50-100 turns of wire around it. Then we remove the winding. As a result, you need to make two frameless coils.
We solder to the terminals of one Light-emitting diode.

An electric motor and battery are soldered in series to the second coil. Polarity doesn't matter.

That's all! As soon as the battery is installed in the box, the motor will start spinning. And if you now combine the windings together, it will light up Light-emitting diode, indicating the transfer of energy through a magnetic field.

To increase the voltage, you can increase the power supply and take three batteries instead of one.

How it works?

Everything is simple to the point of banality. During operation of the commutator motor, the windings of its rotor are alternately connected to the power supply; at the moment of switching, an open circuit is created, which in turn breaks the power supply to the coil through which the motor is turned on. As a result, these pulses create an alternating magnetic field in the coil, which is induced to the second receiving coil.
Now you can bring a phone that has a contactless charging function and try to charge it.

Not an alternating magnetic field, but a pulsed one.

It is variable, because when the circuit on the brushes breaks during rotation, a self-inductive emf occurs with reverse polarity
