- Nylon tapes, approximately 30x2x1500 mm.
- Plastic buckles for fastening belts.

Making a harness
As I already said, I got all the necessary material from an old backpack. There were tapes with the required parameters, plastic buckles, and foam inserts for the shoulder straps. So, first you need to take the parameters from the dog - neck circumference and chest circumference.
Using the obtained parameters, we cut off two corresponding sections from the nylon tape. Of course, with a good margin. 150 millimeters, no less. It is also necessary to burn the edges of the ribbon with a lighter so that it does not unravel.
Next, plastic buckles should be sewn to one of the edges of each tape. Like this:
Personally, at first I sewed it by hand, due to my inability to use a sewing machine, but then, nevertheless, I found a craftsman who sewed the necessary parts for me. Now we need foam inserts. On the backpack they were in the form of strips of foam rubber covered with Bologna fabric.
For the chest insert of the future harness, cut off 15-18 cm of this thing, and stitch it along the middle with a ribbon, with an interval between lines the width of the ribbon. Like this:

For the back insert, we take a piece of 20-25 cm.
We repeat the procedure with the firmware, with the only difference that at one of the ends we leave a loop of tape into which we insert an iron ring.
Next, we thread the neck and chest straps into the outer gaps between the lines, first into the chest insert, then also into the back.

Trying the harness on the dog.
If everything fits well, you can take a test walk so that the animal gets used to the new thing.
If the dog likes to swim and bathe in the nearest body of water, and expresses a desire to get into the water, then the harness must be removed.
