Manufacturing process of wing bolts and nuts
It is necessary to grind pipe scraps for melting.
They can be cut with side cutters. This can be done even faster with an electric planer or when cutting pipes with a miter saw.
The bolt that needs to be equipped with a wing needs to be inserted with a rod into the large socket head.
A washer is put on it and a nut is screwed on. Then the head is clamped in a vice with the bolt head facing up. You can make wing nuts in a similar way by screwing the bolts onto them flush.
Chips from pipes are placed in the head and heated with a hair dryer or torch. As it shrinks, plastic is added.
After filling the head, you need to press the molten mass with the head of a bolt corresponding to the size of the socket head.
After the plastic has hardened, the wing bolt is removed from the head, and the remaining sagging is cut off with a knife.
You can also make a lamb from a ketchup or mayonnaise cap. To do this, the bolt head is placed in it and filled with epoxy glue.
