I would like to show you a master class on how to decorate a wine glass for the bride using satin ribbons with your own hands.
We will need:
1. Wine glass.
2. Glue.
3. Satin ribbons.
4. Guipure ribbon.
5. Scissors.
6. Threads with a needle.
7. Beads.

Handicraft stores provide a huge assortment of satin ribbons in a wide range of colors. They are cheap, so you can get a lot of ribbons at once, differing in width and texture.If the wedding will take place without a themed color, then you can decorate the wedding wine glass with classic white ribbons. Otherwise, we select and buy the colors that we need.
For decoration you can use beads, halves of beads, sequins and other accessories.
Wine glasses can be purchased at any glassware store. They are sold in pairs and even individually.
We take a transparent wine glass and wrap it with guipure tape, thereby measuring the length. Let's cut it off. Lubricate the wine glass with glue and attach the tape to it. Almost any glue can be used. It can be special for handicrafts. I use glue moment.



Guipure tape was glued.

We take a white tape 2.5 cm wide, apply it to the wine glass, measure the required length, grease it with glue and glue it. We pull the irregularities to the front side of the wine glass, where the joints are connected. The tape may bulge, so you need to keep an eye on it and smooth it out.




Take a white tape 1 cm wide, measure the length, cut it and coat it with glue. Apply it to the wine glass and smooth out any unevenness.




Glue only 2 white tapes.
The wine glass narrows downward, so it becomes increasingly difficult to glue the tapes. If at the very beginning the ends of the ribbons looked down, now, on the contrary, we will raise them up.
Now we will work with a bright blue ribbon. Let's imagine that the wedding will be decorated in this color.
We measure the size, cut and glue the ribbon. We do these steps to the very bottom of the wine glass.




The front side, where the tapes are connected, does not look very neat, but this is only the middle of the work done. No need to worry. We will continue to decorate and decorate our wedding wine glass.

Take 2 translucent ribbons of blue and light blue. They are 0.5 cm wide. We glue them with the last blue ribbon and wrap the stem of the wine glass.




Now we will decorate the bottom of the wine glass with a skirt made of ribbons. We take two tapes. One wide, the other narrow. We insert the thread into the needle and sew these lines together with a regular stitch. When tightening the thread, this will give us the opportunity to make an assembly on the ribbons. During the sewing process we tighten and try on. The assembled tapes should wrap around the bottom 2 times.





Since the wedding wine glass is decorated in blue, the skirt needs to be complemented with this color. We take blue tape, stitch it, assemble it and glue it to the bottom.




Now let's start decorating the front part of the wine glass.
Take a ribbon 3 cm wide. Apply a transparent white ribbon to it and sew them together along the edge.


Take a blue ribbon, 1 cm wide. This will be a small bow. Apply it to a wide gold ribbon to select the size.

Cut and sew.


We take translucent narrow ribbons: blue, dark blue and white. We will tie the bow with them, and their ends will hang down, so we use our discretion to determine the required length.

We tie the blue one with three transparent ribbons and get a cute bow.

Sew it to a wide gold ribbon.

We take half a bead and glue it to the bow, thereby hiding the threads, and it’s also beautiful decor.
