Cosmetics and lipstick often stain our clothes. But, if powder or foundation can be easily washed in a washing machine, then with lipstick the situation is different.

It is easier to remove caustic lipstick from synthetic fabrics than from cotton fabrics. But, I will try to tell you in detail how you can get rid of a stain on your clothes in literally an hour. The main thing is not to wait for the stain to dry. Old stains are much more difficult to remove.

What I will need:

  • lemon,
  • soda,
  • water.

The process of removing lipstick from clothes

  • First, I generously wet the stain with water from a spray bottle. The fabric should be thoroughly wet; you should not rub the stain with water. If you don't have a spray bottle, wet a clean dish sponge and squeeze the water onto the stain.

  • Next, sprinkle baking soda on the stain and squeeze half a lemon.
  • When soda and lemon interacted, a reaction (foam) formed.

  • I leave the item in this state for an hour, then wash it in the usual way.

For example, I don't waste time hand washing. I just put the cleaned item in the washing machine, load the rest of the clothes in there and set the “cotton” mode. After washing and drying, your item will be clean again.

Advice! Don't be afraid to experiment and don't buy expensive stain removers that don't always do their job.
