Ingredients:
- pasta – 100 gr.;
- water –1 l;
- flour – 1.5 tbsp;
- starch – 1.5 tbsp;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- garam masala;
- paprika;
- hot paprika.
The process of preparing snack chips
Pasta for chips must first be boiled until al dente. For every 100 gr. product, pour 1 liter of water into the pan and add 1 tsp. salt. Information about the cooking time for “al dente” can be read on the packaging of the pasta you have, usually 5-7 minutes.
The boiled pasta is placed in a colander and washed with cold water. Then they are transferred to a deep bowl and mixed with flour and starch.
Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan to 200°C and pour in the pasta for frying. As soon as they reach a golden color, they need to be placed on a napkin so that the fat drains from them.
The crispy pasta is transferred to a deep bowl and seasonings are added to taste.
Garam masala, regular and hot paprika are very suitable for this. If necessary, you can add salt.If you like other spices, you can use them. In any case, the chips will turn out crispy and tasty.
