Ingredients:
- - pumpkin – 4.8 kg;
- - sugar – 3.5 kg;
- - lemon – 1 pc.;
- - orange – 2 pcs.;
- - cinnamon - to taste;
- - agar-agar – 1 tbsp. spoon per liter of syrup.
How to make marmalade and candied fruits from pumpkin
1. Cut the pumpkin into large pieces.
2. Remove seeds and cut off the rind.
3. Place the peeled and cut into small cubes pumpkin into a saucepan and cover with sugar. Leave for 3-4 hours until juice comes out.
4. Place the pan with the pumpkin over low or medium heat, bring to a boil, turn off the heat, and let cool to room temperature. Repeat the action 2 more times.
5. Add cinnamon, oranges cut into 4 parts and lemon to the hot syrup with pumpkin. Boil for another 5 minutes.
