The process of finalizing the boiler wiring
The essence of saving lies in installing a thermo-mixing valve directly at the outlet of the water heater. It will mix hot and cold water, giving a warm stream at a comfortable temperature. This way, the first drops of water coming out of the tap will not be too hot or cold right away. This water can be used without draining some of it down the drain while the mixer is adjusted manually.
We connect the thermo-mixing tap to the boiler with an inlet marked “H”. Cold water must be connected to the inlet marked “C”. To do this, you will have to cut a tee into the supply line to the boiler, and then lay a line from it to the valve, using a pipe and angles. The pipe from the mixer is connected to the output of the valve labeled “MIX”.
The valve itself must be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. +35-37 degrees Celsius is considered optimal for health. Every time you open a hot tap, this is the water that will flow from the mixer. Accordingly, the boiler will lose less hot water, which will reduce power consumption.
