How to make a custom antenna for DVB-T2

In order for a digital antenna to receive signals of certain frequencies as efficiently as possible without interference, its size must be strictly calculated. We offer an adjustable antenna design for maximum sensitivity. It is incredibly easy to do and takes only 20 minutes.

Manufacturing process of an active antenna for DVB-T2

It is necessary to cut two pieces of 300-350 mm from the surfactant wire. On one edge they need to be stripped of 10 mm of insulation. The bare core is flattened and a hole is made in it with a 4 mm drill.

You need to draw a circle on a piece of paper. Its diameter depends on the overlap range of the channels for which you need the antenna. From 21 to 49 channels - 145 mm, from 36-59 - 130 mm, and from 30-69 - 120 mm.

Through the center of the circle we draw a line that extends beyond its limits.On both sides of it, with an indentation of 13 mm, we draw parallels. You need to leave 110 mm from them. Next, starting from the cross-section of the wire and its insulation, you need to draw a full-size sketch of the antenna on this blank.

The paper is glued to the plywood. Then we screw the self-tapping screw into the template, fixing one wire, and bend it. We put a mark 5 mm before the bend and remove the insulation from it to the very edge. Then we bend the wire. The same is done on the other side.
