The process of making a garden sink from an old 200 liter metal barrel
We clean the barrel inside and out with water from a hose.
We place the round sink with its front side on the lid of the barrel with some offset to one edge and trace the outline. We retreat about 1 cm inward from the resulting circle, draw a second one, concentric to the first. We cut a round opening along the inner circumference and clean the edges.

We use the level for its intended purpose and as a ruler. Stepping back a little from the bottom of the barrel, we draw three parallel lines to the required height and make cuts along them. We put two loops on the outer ones and fasten them with self-tapping screws.
After that, we make cuts along the top and bottom of the lines. As a result, we get two swinging doors.
Remove the screws protruding from the inside.
We drill holes in the sashes and screw the wing handles on the outside using nuts.
In one vertical plane next to the opening in the lid and on the side closer to the bottom of the barrel, we drill holes, the first of small diameter, the second of larger diameter.
In the furniture panel we cut out a circle equal to the inner diameter of the barrel stiffener. We also drill a hole in it and install stiffening ribs in the groove so that the hole lies in the same plane as the two perforations in the barrel.
We paint the barrel inside and out in colors of our choice.
We screw the water tap into the hole on top. We insert a hose with a quick-release connector through the lower hole on the side of the barrel, pass it through the hole in the shelf made of furniture board and put it on the thread of the tap from below.
Pour liquid soap into the dispenser container, insert the neck from the bottom into the hole in the lid and screw on the cap with the dispenser.
We apply adhesive sealant around the perimeter of the opening and install a stainless steel sink.
We screw a corrugated hose to the central hole of the sink to drain contaminated liquid.
To do this, we bring the end of the corrugation out through the lower hole in the barrel. The sink is completely ready for use for its intended purpose.
