One day I decided to weave a pendant in the shape of an Owl.

We will need:
Ring with a diameter of 1 cm (purchased at a hardware store),
5 meters of synthetic cord with a diameter of 1-2 mm or half a coil (waxed cord is also possible),
14 pieces of yellow beads,
8 pieces of blue crystal beads,
10 medium sized orange beads,
1 orange bead with a diameter of 5mm,
2 orange translucent beads with a diameter of 8mm,
1 metal blue bead,
2 blue flat beads.

1. Take 10 pieces of 50cm each, fold them in half and hang them on the ring. Let's make two flat knots in the middle:

2.Form a diagonal knot on the left, tying double knots on the first thread on the left:

3.In the same way, we form a diagonal knot on the right and put a yellow bead on the two middle threads, crosswise - this will be the nose of the bird:

4. We begin to form a diagonal knot from the middle: we tie three double knots on the middle left thread, and then on the next four threads we put an orange bead - the eye of an owl and tie five more double knots with them:

5.Now we string seven large yellow beads onto a cord and tie a double knot and alternately five orange beads and four blue crystal-shaped ones:

6.We form another series of diagonal nodes on the left and right, this is what happened:

7. Now that the bird's face is formed, let's move on to the owl's body. To do this, take the middle left thread and start tying knots around the two threads from right to left:

8. We tie knots in this way from right to left, and we tie the last knot around the three remaining threads:

9. In the same way we form nodes from left to right:

10. In this way we weave 3 rows of knots on the left and right, without intertwining the threads in the center. After the three rows have been woven, we intertwine the central threads and start a row of diagonal knots from the center:

Owl pendant

11. After two rows of diagonal gaps are formed, we put on a blue cylindrical bead:

12. Then we weave four flat knots with the outer threads and put on two flat oval blue beads - these are the owl's paws. Then we weave three more flat knots, fix them with superglue 505 and trim the ends of the threads:

Here is another option made of cotton threads, for 8 threads:
