Let's hypothetically imagine a situation in which you immediately need 3D glasses, but there is no opportunity to buy them in the next few hours. The easiest way to make 3D glasses: a regular box for music CDs + two alcohol-based markers (red and blue).

The front disc cover should be enough for one pair of glasses.

1.Take a square piece and place it in very hot water for a few seconds. This will soften the material and avoid brittleness when cutting. Then take ordinary scissors (preferably with small cutting surfaces, manicure ones can be used) and cut the plastic in the shape of two ovals connected by a jumper. To avoid burrs, you can clean the edges of the plastic with sandpaper

2.Then take a red marker and evenly color the left oval of your 3D glasses with it, and the right one with a blue marker. To achieve uniform coloring of the plastic, you can open the marker and, taking out an alcohol rod, squeeze it onto the surface of the plastic or evenly apply a layer with a wide ink surface
3.Wait until the surfaces dry and the alcohol dye evaporates

4. For ease of use, you can attach a handle to the structure - you will get a compact monocle.

These glasses, of course, will differ in the quality of those produced in a factory, but such a homemade product will allow you to feel the 3D effect

Pictures to test your 3D glasses.

In general, the right glass needs to be painted blue on one side and green on the other.

don’t torture your eyesight, it will remember this for you, anaglyph is the oldest 3D technology, your eyes already hurt after 5 minutes, IMAX 3D (shutter technology and polarization) rules, it will be followed by 3D halographs, which allow you to watch 3D without any glasses at all with a resolution of 4k and higher.

and factory ones, depending on what the frame is made of, cost from 20 (paper) to infinity (platinum frames encrusted with diamonds are not cheap :)
