Jar with declarations of love for Valentine's Day. What could be better than hearing declarations of love from a loved one, and even on such a holiday as Valentine's Day. Better than one, there will be only a hundred confessions about why your chosen one is so dear to you. Today we will be making a “one hundred reasons why I love you” bottle.
The following will be used in the work:
- a glass jar or small bottle of a beautiful shape;
- PVA glue;
- sponge;
- water-based paint;
- universal silicone glue;
- colored paper for printing;
- spray varnish;
- thick threads (burlap).

Let's get to work. Using a sponge, tint the glass surface of the bottle with white paint. When the first layer of paint has dried, we paint the bottle again, but this time with paint brought to the required shade (you can give the paint the required tone using special colors for water-based paint or by adding a little watercolor to the paint). Remember that the paint color will lighten slightly as it dries.

The work will use

While the second layer of paint dries, print out the name for our jar on a sheet of paper.You can take what has already been proposed as a basis or come up with a name yourself.

Carefully cut out the words and use PVA to glue them to the surface of the bottle. We do not use too much glue, otherwise the sheet may get wet, and excess glue will create unsightly streaks on the surface. Like paint, glue must be allowed to dry thoroughly.

Now you need to decorate the upper part of the neck so that no traces of screwing the lid are visible. We take a thick burlap thread, glue its end to a drop of silicone universal glue and, moistening the entire length in PVA, wind it around the neck. We also secure the tip with transparent silicone glue. At the bottom of my bottle there are also marks that indicate its original purpose, so we also hide them under the thread. If you only need to hide traces of twisting, then the lower part does not need to be decorated with thread. If your base is a glass jar with a beautiful lid, you can skip this stage of decoration altogether. We open the surface of the bottle with spray varnish to fix it decor. If the surface is left unvarnished, it will quickly get dirty, and it will be impossible to wash it.

As a closure for the confession bottle, I will use a regular wooden cork, so I simply decorate it with threads, securing them with a knot.

Now let's get to the inside of our holiday bottle. We print declarations of love on colored paper, many versions of which can be found on the Internet. But if you want the confessions to be more personal, of course it’s better to come up with them yourself.The larger the bottle or jar used as the base, the larger the confession strips should be made. We cut out the strips, twist them and secure them with thread, ribbon or a drop of glue.

We place our confessions inside the bottle, close the lid and the original present ready for your loved one for Valentine's Day. You can additionally decorate the bottle with beautiful hearts.
