First we need foam rubber. From it we will cut out half of the future apple. This can be done using scissors. Here's how it turned out for me.
Now let's take an aluminum wire and cut off two pieces from it with wire cutters. I got one segment 9 centimeters long, and the second 20 centimeters. The short piece will serve as a stick for the apple, and from the long piece we will make a leaf. It's easy to do. Bend the wire into a sheet shape and twist the ends together. In general, the length of the segments depends on the size of the cut apple.
Take the fabric. In fact, you can take fabric of any color and any texture, because this is your apple and let it be the way you want.I took plain fabric in yellow, green, brown, and red with a pattern.
As you already understood, we will make a leaf from green fabric. On fabric
lay the wire frame, trace it, adding 0.5 centimeter seam allowances. Cut and sew the leaf, inserting the wire frame inside.
Let's take a brown fabric. We cut a rectangle from it 3 centimeters wide and 6 centimeters long, wind it onto a second piece of wire for volume and sew it together. We are left with three centimeters of wire without fabric.
Sew the leaf to the stick. We just need to sew it on as tightly as possible so that our leaf holds well.
For reliability, grease the tip of the wire with glue and insert it into the apple half.
Take red fabric for the convex side of the apple and yellow fabric for the flat side. We sheathe the apple, making grooves where necessary.
Our apple is almost ready, all that remains is to draw the core on the cut of the apple. We draw it with brown and black felt-tip pens. If you are not an artist, then I first advise you to make a drawing with a simple pencil and, if you like it, outline it with a felt-tip pen of the desired color. To make it easier to understand where and what to draw, take half a real apple and look. Here's what I got.
You can simply place such a pincushion on a shelf or make a small loop and hang it on the wall.
