• We cut the toy in accordance with the attached diagram.
• We prepare small elements of the product - eyes and nose. To do this, we lay frequent small stitches along the circumferences of their parts and, having slightly pulled them together and filled them with synthetic padding, finally close them (you should get balls) and secure them with a hand seam.
• We sew the middle seams of the main part and the back part with a machine stitch as shown in the photo.
• Cut a narrow strip of fleece at least 5 cm wide (the length is arbitrary and depends on the desired size of the shell). Fold it in half, sew down the open edges and turn it inside out on the face.
• Fill the part with padding polyester and twist it into a roll. We secure the resulting shell with a hand stitch.
• We connect the main part with the back and bottom parts as shown in the photo, leaving a small gap so that you can turn the product onto its face. We fill it with padding polyester, close the gap and manually connect it with the remaining parts of the snail.
If your toy is cut from a plain fabric, I suggest decorating it with acrylic paints.
The pattern can be arbitrary and made using either a brush or a cotton swab (the latter will give a particularly soft effect). Next, cut out a straw from a scrap of material in a contrasting color and sew it to the head as shown in the photo. The snail is ready!
