Case for teapot

People who don't like drinking tea are quite rare. Surely everyone knows that teapots are made of clay. Therefore, they do not need to be heated over an open fire, as they are intended for brewing tea. I propose to make a beautiful cover for a teapot with your own hands using knitting technique. With this cover you can simply paint your kettle, or hide some imperfections. After all, it happens that some kind of trouble has formed in the most visible place, or over time the design has become pale and inconspicuous, and the teapot itself completely triples your attention. A cover for a teapot can also be made as a gift to a loved one.

You will need the following materials:

• The yarn is blue.
  
• The yarn is beige.
  
• The yarn is red.
  
• The yarn is green.
  
• Hook.
  
• Knitting needles.
  
• Needle.
  
• Button.

We take beige yarn and cast on 36 loops on the knitting needles. We knit 6 next to each other in stockinette stitch. Then we switch to beige yarn and knit 3 rows purlwise, then switch to beige yarn again.




We knit alternating strips of different yarns until we get 5 strips of beige yarn.Depending on the size of the kettle, there may be fewer or more stripes. The size must be determined according to your kettle. Now you need to leave a hole for the spout of the kettle. To do this, we knit 12 loops and close off the next 19 loops. We knit the remaining 6 loops.



In the next row it is necessary to restore the missing loops, that is, we knit 6 loops and put 19 loops on the knitting needle and knit 12 loops again. Thus, 36 loops returned to the knitting needle.



Using beige yarn we knit the same strip as before the hole formed. We knit the second half, just like the first, alternating strips of beige and blue yarn.



We close the loops. We put the blank on the teapot.



Thread a thread of any color into a needle and begin stitching from the lid. We thread the top of the product and tighten it to the size of the handle from the lid.



At the top of the handle we sew, and at the bottom we sew a button and make a loop on the other side. Fasten it up.



Now we will make a rose and leaves for it, we will crochet it. We crochet a chain of 8 loops and round it into a ring.



Then we knit the chain again and fasten it so that a rose petal is formed. Thus, we knit until we get a thick rose.



Using green yarn, knit 3 leaves using a hook.



We sew the leaves to the rose. And we sew the rose itself to the teapot cover. The teapot case is ready!
