Today I want to introduce you to the MK of a New Year’s card, which I called “Winter Window” (besides, it is not only a card, but also a sweet surprise).
Let's prepare the following material for work: an unnecessary book cover or thick cardboard, glue, scissors, colored paper, a stationery knife, remnants of tulle, narrow satin ribbons, polystyrene foam, lace, children's socks, gouache, brush, needle, "Iris" or "Iris" threads. Chamomile”, old “Happy New Year” cards, album covers.
We cover the postcard spreads with colored paper.
First, let's design the front part of the card. Let's take a color album cover. This will be the “wall” for the window. Now we will make blanks for the window, and then we will assemble it.
View from the window: picture with houses.
For the frame: using a stationery knife, cut strips of polystyrene foam 5 mm wide.
We sew curtains from pieces of tulle.
I painted the lace blue.
We “assemble” the window from parts (we sew the curtains to the base with threads, decorate them with bows). At the bottom we paste the “Happy New Year” greeting cut out from a postcard. We design the card inside.
On the top spread we paste wishes for the New Year (we also take them from postcards).
There will be a sweet surprise on the bottom spread.Use a utility knife to make slits in the base.
Let's thread satin ribbons through them. We take children's socks (I took blue ones), cut off the length we need and process the cut edges with Iris threads. For a sweet surprise, I took candies. We will attach the resulting “bags” to the base of the card, tying them with summer.
This is the back of the postcard. You can decorate at your own discretion. The postcard is ready.
