Materials and tools
For manufacturing work you will need the following materials:
• three sheets of laminated chipboard;
• washers;
• nuts;
• studs;
• hexagonal blind nuts;
• chrome-plated tube;
• furniture wheels.
The material for making tables may vary depending on the owner’s preference. In this case, the countertops are made of laminate spacer material laminated on one side. You can purchase it at any hardware store by contacting the sellers. Another option is to ask for sheets at building materials storage warehouses. In this case, you can save a lot.
Required tools:
• jigsaw;
• Bulgarian;
• screwdriver;
• wood drill based on the diameter of the stud;
• roulette;
• set of wrenches.
If you don’t have a jigsaw on your farm, it doesn’t matter. Currently, the service of cutting materials is widespread.At a reasonable cost, they will make cuttings according to a given drawing or even help with the layout.
Manufacturing process.
First, the sheets should be bundled and secured with clamps. In this form they are given the required shape. The pattern can be a pattern made from arakal, applied to the top sheet of the pack. All work should be done from the rough side of the sheet.
After the sheets are shaped, the distances for making holes for the studs are marked. They must be at least 5 cm from the edge. Drilling occurs without removing the clamp. The length of the pins is 1 m. Coffee tables for the living room are not made high, so the pins are cut in half with a grinder. In this case, you will need two products for installation. Chrome tubes are sold three meters long. Their size is determined based on the distance between the tabletops. Don't forget to subtract the thickness of the middle tabletop and the backing washers.
Stage one
Take the top cover and place it face down. We put a pin through the holes. A washer is placed on the front side, with its flat surface facing the canvas. We fix the stud with a blind nut.
On the other hand, a washer with a skirt is screwed onto the pin.

A chrome tube is placed on the stud. It serves as a decorative element. The backlash is eliminated due to the size of the nut.
Second phase
The second table top is placed on a washer mounted on a chrome tube. The structure is fixed with nuts.
Third stage
Holes for the wheels are drilled in the lower tabletop. They are located inside the structure from the holes for the studs. Since the table is made to individual dimensions, holes for movable elements can be arranged without markings - by eye.
Furniture wheels are fixed.
The lower tabletop is fixed to the structure.
The stud may protrude above the nut, stopping the wheels from moving. It must be cut using a grinder or a hacksaw blade.
Well, the serving table is ready. The height of the tiers can be changed depending on the purpose and preferences.
