DIY topiary
Materials for work:

Stages of work
1. Any topiary starts with a base. Sometimes this is a styrofoam ball, but you can use what you always have on hand. You need to take an old unnecessary newspaper and crumple it up; if the ball is not of sufficient size, then add more newspapers. Wrap with a strong thread and tie the end. The trunk is also made from newspapers, rolled into a tight tube, sealed, and allowed to dry.
2. Cover the finished tube of the future barrel with a crumpled napkin, coating it well with glue. Dry, paint with black watercolor diluted with PVA, dry again, cover with bronze eye shadow, and secure with hairspray.
3. Wrap the ball of the future crown with crepe paper, tie it with a ribbon at the bottom, spread glue on top and secure the edges with pins, gathering them all together.
4.Now you need to prepare the flowers that will decorate the tree. Cut strips no more than 15 cm long from crepe paper. The width is determined by the marks applied to the paper. If there are no marks, then it will be approximately 5 cm. Roll each one into a roll, bend the edges outward, and round off the sharp corner. Turn it over, drip glue onto the base, and let it dry for several hours.
5. Gather all the flowers together, gluing them onto the tree blank. Apply a drop of glue to the base and attach to the newspaper ball using pins with decorative mother-of-pearl heads. You don’t have to remove the pins afterwards. Place the tree itself in a decorative candle, from which you first remove the middle and fill the remaining space with the same paraffin; it becomes plastic and soft in your hands. Sprinkle small shells or decorative colored soil on top.
Such a cute tree made from scrap materials will not only decorate the interior with its presence, but will also smell pleasant.
