Before starting work, the surface must be degreased using alcohol or nail polish remover and a cotton pad or napkin.
This is necessary to improve the adhesion of paint and varnish to the surface.
Once the surface is completely dry, you can begin to transfer the design. It's best to print some kind of outline pattern.
Since the surface is black, you need to transfer the design using chalk.
On light surfaces you can transfer with a pencil or carbon paper.
The reverse side of the drawing must be completely painted with chalk and pressed onto the surface.
Then, using a pen or pencil, outline all the contours.
The result should be a white print.
Now this print needs to be filled with an acrylic outline.
The main secret of the technique is that the points on the same line must have the same size and be at the same distance from each other.
When the drawing is transferred, the acrylic paint must be dried well in accordance with the instructions, because each manufacturer has its own drying time.
After the paint has completely dried, the surface must be degreased again and any remaining chalk must be removed.
To complete the work, the entire surface must be sealed with varnish.
In this case, it is recommended to use transparent glossy acrylic varnish.
After the varnish has completely dried, the work is completed and such a palette, in addition to its main function, will serve as an excellent decorative element on your perfume table. Using this technique, you can decorate any surface, and you can use not one, but several colors of acrylic outline in your work.
