By the way, if your child has already grown up and mastered the basics of sewing, you can do needlework together.
You will need:
- The felt is green and a little white.
- Threads, needle.
- Pattern paper.
- Holofiber filler.
- Scissors.
Manufacturing:
Draw the details of the cabbage on paper and cut them out (see the photo for the shape of the pattern and the number of parts).
Cut out the pieces from felt.
Sew cabbage leaves (3 pieces) with a loop stitch.
For the cabbage head, sew 2 pieces together, leaving a small area unsewn.
Turn out the swing part and fill it with holofiber.
Sew up the part for the swing.
In the upper part of the swing, sew a stitch using a snail stroke (see photo).
Sew the leaves to the cabbage head.
Round the edges of the white felt piece, sew along the edge and lightly pull the thread.
Sew the white piece to the base of the cabbage. The vegetable is ready.
Your child will be delighted with such a cute toy that you created with your own hands, even if everything didn’t work out right away as you would like. When making vegetables, try to choose felt of appropriate colors so that the child develops the correct idea of real products. Don't stop there, get creative and create new vegetable masterpieces from felt. Good luck!
