To create spectacular decorations for your car you won’t need much:
- hard tulle;
- satin ribbons: wide white and thin green;
- artificial flowers.
- green and white threads, needle, scissors.
To create this type of decoration for the car, two types of flower garlands and artificial roses were purchased individually from the artificial flowers department.
The decorations on the car are V-shaped with each strip 1.7 m long.
At the very beginning, you need to measure four strips of hard tulle 20 cm wide and 3.5 m long. It is not necessary to buy 3.5 meters of tulle.Depending on the purchased cut width, you can take a smaller amount of material, cut a larger number of strips and grind them together. We sew the resulting strips alternately in the center, forming folds.
We iron each fold well and sew two strips together, getting a ribbon with folds 3.4 meters long. After this, we take a wide satin ribbon 3.8 meters long, place it in the center along the strip with folds and stitch it three times: in the center and along the edges.
For more convenient fastening of the tapes on the hood of the car, you need to leave 20 cm of tape along the edges.
Fold the strip in half, form a corner, which we sew well.
It is necessary to sew two 40 cm long ribbons onto the corner of the composition, which will be tied to the grill of the car.
Let's start with the decor. We take a green ribbon 3.4 meters long, fold it in half, and divide the garland with roses into an even number of parts, which we string at equal intervals onto the green ribbon and sew to the tulle.
We do the same with the second garland - daisies. We divide it into equal pieces, with which we fill the gaps between the roses from the first garland, sewing it to the tulle.
During the sewing process, the flowers must be lifted so that the inflorescences cover as many gaps as possible.
The final touch is to decorate the decorations with individual roses. These flowers are necessary in order to close the gaps that the flowers that are already sewn to the tulle could not cope with. We take each rose and sew it in the place where there are not enough flowers.
In this form, the ribbon can already be used as an independent decoration. However, in order to decor The machine was more impressive by adding a flower arrangement, purchased in advance along with garlands, to the center.
We securely fasten the composition to the grill with which it is sold.
We straighten each flower and sew it onto the corner of the V-shaped ribbon with flowers.
