DIY pregnancy diary

Every girl or woman dreams of one cherished dream in her life - to become a mother and find such happiness as giving birth to a child. This is the most long-awaited and cherished dream of everyone, because having your own child is such happiness. Some people carefully approach planning and preparation for pregnancy, while for others everything works out spontaneously and unexpectedly. It doesn’t matter at all how it happened, what is important is the result that you are expecting a baby, you are pregnant and very happy. Therefore, immediately after you find out that you are expecting a small miracle, you definitely want to write it all down so as not to forget anything, not to miss anything and to save the first intimate notes of your pregnancy. That’s why, especially for such events, we will now consider an interesting master class in which we will learn how to make a pregnancy diary absolutely from scratch. In it, every girl will be able to manage her entire pregnancy from the first day, as she learned about it, until the birth of the baby.
So, let's get started and for the master class we take:

• Binding cardboard, A5 format, two sheets;
  
• Cotton fabric is bright, high-quality blue and pink with flowers, it is better to take Korea or Germany;
  
• Sintepon;
  
• Scrapbooking paper in mint lilac color;
  
• Colored pages printed for our pregnancy diary. You can search the pages on the Internet or buy them in electronic form from the Internet, and then print them yourself. Basically, the set of such pages includes pages: I found out I was pregnant, ultrasound pictures, photos, notes by week and month, pages of notes, choosing a name, list of things, medical examination, etc.;
  
• Die-cut blue napkin, openwork mint frame;
  
• A picture with a pregnant girl and the inscription “Pregnancy Diary”;
  
• Pink lace 4 cm wide;
  
• Light pink satin ribbon 25 mm wide;
  
• White ribbon with pompoms:
  
• Chiffon light pink ribbon with roses;
  
• Embroidered white flowers;
  
• Knitted flowers in pink, white and mint;
  
• Centers and half beads for flowers;
  
• Blue rings 40 mm in diameter, pink eyelets and an installer for eyelets;
  
• Plastic white horse;
  
• White and mint paper roses;
  
• Glass effect glue;
  
• Glue stick, glue gun, double-sided tape;
  
• Ruler, scissors, pencil.

We take binding blanks of cardboard, they are 14.5*20.5 cm in size. We glue strips of double-sided tape.


Glue the padding polyester. Now we take two fabrics.


We cut the fabric two pieces on each side and iron it.


We will sew lace between the fabrics.


We sew the fabrics together with a machine, and sew lace in the center between them. Now we place the binding blank with the padding polyester facing down, coat the corners, wrap it and glue it.


Covered both parts with fabric. Glue the strip of tape in the center.


We sew both cover blanks along the edge.Now we take scrap paper and cut out two rectangles 14 by 20 cm from it, as well as two pockets 14 cm wide.


We sew on the pockets. Now we will sew a picture, card and cutting onto the cover.


We sew everything on a typewriter.


Now we glue the endpapers from scrap paper inside the covers and place them under the press so that the glue is well fixed. In the meantime, let's take care of the sheets. We lay them out in the right order.


We punch holes on the covers and install eyelets with the help of an installer.


Now we punch holes in all the leaves and collect our diary on rings.


We glue the decorations to the cover and our diary is completely ready. It turns out that we have such a wonderful notebook for notes and the most secret things. Thank you for your attention and good luck to everyone.
