A homemade alcohol burner can come in handy, say, while fishing, hiking, or in the forest. You can use it to heat food or boil water. It can also be used in other various experiments and experiments.
Filled with alcohol, it does not produce soot or foreign odors, and due to its small dimensions it can fit almost anywhere.
We will need:
No. 1: Two iron cans for any drinks (I took cola cans).
No. 2: Vata
#3: Something to cut the cans (I used scissors).
No. 4: Alcohol (90% and above)
Assembly:
No. 1: Draw a line on the jars 3.5 cm from the bottom:
No. 2: Cut the cans along the line:
No. 3: Place cotton wool in one of the jars (it is better to use glass wool. It does not burn, does not smolder and can withstand high temperatures better):
No. 4: Combining banks:
No. 5: We pierce the holes like this:
No. 6: Fill with alcohol.
The burner is ready!
To light it, you need to heat the bottom with a lighter (or matches, I did it with an alcohol lamp) so that the alcohol begins to evaporate, and set it on fire!
