Aphids are a headache for many summer residents. And not only summer residents, our indoor “green pets” can suffer the same misfortune: just open a window or window in the summer. In most cases, the root cause of aphids is house ants - they use aphids like a person uses livestock. They look after the aphids, protect them from other insects and try in every possible way to breed them as much as possible, since the aphids, with a certain impact on them, secrete sweet nectar, which is a delicacy for the ants. If these smart insects have established their colony in the wall of a wooden house, or in the underground, it will not be easy to remove aphids. It makes no sense to get rid of aphids without killing the ants - as soon as the chemical you used to poison the recent parasites wears off, the ants will immediately bring new ones and in a week the next generation will be born. In addition, aphids, like many parasites, have the unpleasant ability to adapt to poison. But ants do not have such abilities, which is very beneficial for us.Let's start with them! Fortunately, now there are many products that do a good job of getting rid of these insects and almost all of them are effective. So, in order to get rid of ants, we buy several types of sweet poison at once, so that the result is certain. We act according to the instructions on the labels. If everything went well and the ants disappeared, then we will begin removing aphids. But here I encountered an unpleasant surprise: the aphids on my pepper turned out to be immune to all the products I bought. Only some caused parasite activity to decrease temporarily, but they did not die. She occupied only indoor peppers, without touching other plants. I struggled with it for more than a year, using various store remedies and my own. I did not achieve any results other than the loss of two plants. House aphids are active all year round, so I had a lot of them to test my remedies at this time. And recently, after all, I successfully eradicated this infection! Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to show the process of eliminating parasites, due to the complete absence of such, but it is quite possible to describe the production of the product and the process of treating plants.

Getting rid of house aphids
Preparation of the solution:
First you need to infuse tobacco dust in water. For a liter jar of water - two tablespoons (with a slide). Insist for three days. Next, add a little chlorine to the tobacco tincture, literally at the tip of a knife. Leave for another day. Then squeeze out one large clove of garlic through a garlic press. Wait until the garlic permeates the solution with the smell (an hour and a half).Now filter this solution into another container through four-layer gauze. Next, we take a cotton swab, cut off one end with cotton wool from it, and install the remaining tube with cotton wool at the end on the syringe. In place of the needle. We draw the strained solution into the syringe through a cotton swab, thus preventing small particles of tobacco dust from getting inside, which can clog the sprayer, and, after removing the cotton swab, pour the clean solution into the spray bottle. We repeat the procedure until we fill the bottle. Then, just before use, add 3-4 milligrams of cologne to this bottle with a solution ready for spraying. The solution is ready.
Application of the solution:
Before applying the solution, cover the soil in the pot with something so that the solution does not fall on the ground. It's best to use something rag. Personally, I rolled a long rag into a long thin rope and simply wound it on the ground in a pot like a snake around the trunk.
Apply the solution from bottom to top, gradually turning the pot with the plant so that it gets on the inner surfaces of all the leaves.
We process the plant until it starts to drip. Now we leave the plant to dry. Under no circumstances should you rinse it. After a few hours, the parasites remaining on the leaves will darken and die, and within a day they will dry out.
Then they can be swept off the leaves with a soft brush. My pepper tolerated these procedures quite well, however, plants are different, so it’s possible that some will get a little sick. In any case, nothing fatal will happen to them. We do not remove the rag from the pot immediately after treatment, since the aphids will begin to leave the plant literally immediately - falling onto the table and the rag.After a few hours, you can remove the rag with the dead insects. However, this is not yet a victory - many insects managed to lay offspring, which, due to their microscopic size, the poison did not reach. So we repeat the procedure every week until the infection is completely eradicated. During treatment for parasites, it will not be superfluous to feed the plant with vitamins for recovery after exhausting procedures. Aloe leaves are quite suitable for this. Just before watering, squeeze one leaf onto the ground of each plant, after each etching procedure.
After the parasites are completely destroyed, we rinse the plant with clean water using cotton wool or a soft cloth. And wipe the windowsill with water and a light bleach solution more often to prevent the appearance of ants.
