It can be very difficult to peel eggs boiled for salad without removing half the whites along with the shell. This is unpleasant for several reasons. Firstly, the activity takes a lot of time. And, secondly, half of the product goes into the trash. Among the methods offered on the Internet to peel eggs quickly and without loss, 4 that actually work were selected and tested.

Method 1 - with soda

Eggs for salads are hard boiled. They must be washed first, because the shells contain organic dirt and the seal of the poultry farm. To do this, place a dozen in a bowl and fill with warm water for half an hour. Afterwards they wipe and inspect for cracks. Deformed specimens are set aside, otherwise they will burst during cooking and the protein will leak out.

The washed eggs are transferred to a metal container. Fill with water so that it covers completely. Next you need to add three teaspoons of soda. The container is placed on the fire, after boiling the power is reduced so that there is no strong seething. After 10 minutes, the product is transferred to cold water.The shell is easier to remove, as the baking soda helps separate the egg film from the white.

Method 2 – split when ready

Eggs are boiled in the usual way, without soda. When ready, fill a bowl with ice water. Remove the hot eggs from the boiling water with a spoon and place them in a bowl. At the same time, the shells on each one are broken in two places with a spoon.

Cold water penetrates the shell and separates it from the white. The eggs are allowed to cool in water for 5 - 7 minutes, then peeled.

Method 3 – shake in a ladle

Having cooked the required amount until tender, drain the boiling water. Pour 1 centimeter of cold water into the ladle with eggs. Cover the top of the container with a suitable sized lid. Holding the lid and the ladle at the same time, they begin to shake vigorously. It is advisable to do this over the sink, as water splashes to the sides during the process. While shaking, make rotational movements so that the eggs move inside in a circle. At this moment the shell breaks, water penetrates well under it and separates it.

Method 4 – in a glass

The most popular viral method from the Internet turned out to be, surprisingly, the most effective. To implement it you need to choose a wide glass.

Take some water into a glass and place the cooked product in it. With one hand the glass is held firmly over the sink, and with the other it is covered from above. After vigorous shaking, the shell is quickly removed even from fresh eggs. How to do this correctly, watch the video.

    What nonsense is written, just horror. To ensure that eggs are well shelled, there is only one method that works properly. And it doesn’t matter whether you cook the eggs soft-boiled or hard-boiled. There is no difference. Cooking time simply plays a role here. If you put the eggs in already boiling water, then 6 minutes is enough to soft-boil the eggs. That's exactly what I do. Some people put eggs in cold water and then boil them. But for these recipes, turn to those people. Well, okay, it was all a prelude.
    How to peel eggs so that the shell comes off easily? Yes, it's elementary. You need to quickly remove the boiled eggs and send them along with the dishes in which they were boiled under running cold water. That's all. And all these tales that fresh eggs are poorly peeled are tales of villagers who do not have running water. I proved this to my mother-in-law like twice before when she came to visit us.
    I never timed the cooling time of the eggs, but kept the pan with the eggs under running cold water until the water became very cold.On average probably 2-3 minutes. Then let the eggs stand in this very cold water for another 10 minutes. After this, even a five-year-old child can peel them very well.
