What you need for work
Tools required include a hacksaw and an electric glue gun. All other parts are made from scrap materials; there is no need to prepare them specially.
Convenient organizer for storing various small items
You need bottles with caps and a piece of slats or boards. The dimensions depend on the desired number of containers for hardware.
Screw the corks onto the bottles and cut them off with a hacksaw along with the thread on the neck. Make the cut as carefully as possible, in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the container.
Uneven cuts must be corrected using sandpaper. Place it on a hard surface and adjust the parts.
One by one, coat the back side of the cut pieces with hot glue and place them on a wooden stand. Covers can be taken in various diameters for hardware and screwdriver attachments.
Wait until the glue hardens, pour small nuts and bolts into containers, and close with lids. Now they will never get lost.
Business card stand
Requires one large and seven small plastic bottle caps and a paper clip.
Using a hacksaw, make 2–3 cm long slits in each lid, placing them approximately in the middle of the height of the lid. Using the same algorithm, prepare six lids, the seventh should remain intact.
Glue the blanks into a flower. Place the whole one in the center, and with slits around the perimeter in the form of petals. The slots should face outwards; use an electric gun for gluing.
Level the metal clip; it is advisable to use a modern polymer coating with surface protection.
Using a nail, an awl, or any other available method, make a hole in the horizontal surface of the large lid and on the side of any flower petal. Insert the wire and secure it with glue on the back side.
The flower holder is ready, business cards are placed in the slots.
Paint palette
The base of the palette can be any flat surface, but we recommend using an old DVD - it turns out very nicely.
Glue caps from plastic bottles around the circumference of the disk; be sure to place the largest one under water in the center. Allow time for the glue to cool.
Pour water into one lid and fill the others a little with colorful paints. The palette is ready to use - take it and create beautiful works of art.
