We measure a length of 270 mm on the pipe and put a mark, wrap a sheet of paper around it so that the edges match. Draw a line along the edge along which the cut will be made. Carefully cut the pipe with a grinder and clean the edges with a rotating disk.

We unravel the remaining piece of pipe lengthwise and straighten it into a plate, preheating it over a gas stove. We place the hot workpiece between two boards and press it tightly. We mark the resulting plate and cut it into two approximately equal parts with a grinding machine. We glue the plates to the ends of the profile pipe on both sides using quick-setting glue.
