Materials:
- bearings D42-52, d20 – 2 pcs.;
- bearing D25-32, d10-15;
- thick-walled steel pipe with an internal diameter equal to the circumference of large bearings;
- steel round timber d25-30 mm;
- sheet steel 3-4 mm;
- sheet steel 2 mm;

Making nozzles
The design of the scissors is based on an eccentric mechanism. For it, you need to turn a shaft from round steel on a lathe for installing 2 large bearings.
On one side, a shank is machined onto it so that it can be clamped in the drill chuck. At the second end of the shaft, you need to leave a thickening that will serve as a limiter for the bearings.
A short shaft corresponding to the landing diameter of the smaller bearing is welded to the long shaft, on the side of the diameter expansion, with a slight offset. The result is an eccentric on which bearings are mounted.
The assembled mechanism must be pressed into a piece of pipe.
It should accommodate part of the shaft with bearings, while the shank remains outside. If a pipe with a suitable internal diameter cannot be found, it can be partially bored.
Next, you need to weld the inner races of the bearings to the eccentric. The outer race of the outermost large bearing is also welded to the pipe.
A plug is cut out of sheet steel and welded to the end of the pipe from the small bearing side.
Then you need to cut a strip 18-20 mm wide passing through the center of the plug.
2 sheet steel eyes are welded along the edges of the resulting cutout.
At the next stage, a movable knife for scissors is cut out of thick sheet steel. On one side, a fork is made at its end, equal in width to the diameter of the smaller bearing.
The workpiece is tried on between the eyes on the bearing. In order for it to move when the eccentric rotates, a longitudinal groove will need to be made in the pipe for it. Based on the measurement results, the eyes and the knife itself are drilled, after which it is cut to the correct shape.
Next, a second fixed lower knife is made. Unlike the first one, the trigger is removed and sharpened.
Both knives in the cutting part are heated red-hot and quenched in oil.
The knives are installed in place and tightened with a bolt through the eyes.
The sharpened blade is welded to the body of the scissors.
To attach the scissors, you need to select a piece of tube with an internal diameter corresponding to the circumference of the drill body at the location where its handle is installed. A hole is made in it and a nut is welded. When screwing the bot into it, the pipe will be clamped onto the drill.
Then you need to connect the scissors and the tube together, welding 2 strips to them. Also, on the right side of the scissors body, an M8 or M10 nut is welded to install the handle from the angle grinder.
In this form, the scissors are ready for use.
Please note that to install them on a drill, a keyless chuck must be used, since the quick-release chuck will be interfered with by the adapter fastening strips.
