2 simple flashers for 220 V

Sometimes for some devices or machines it is necessary to use an indicator that would blink and attract attention, and most importantly, would work without additional power directly from a 220 V network. Now you will see 2 schemes of simple flashing lights, without transistors and microcircuits, which anyone can make with their own hands .

Flasher on a neon lamp

You will need: neon lamp, capacitor 8.2 uF 400 V, resistor 680 kOhm, diode 1N4007.
Solder the lamp in parallel with the capacitor.

We sequentially solder the resistor on one side and the diode on the other, observing polarity.

That's it, the flasher is ready. We connect to a 220 V AC power supply and the lamp begins to blink at a frequency of approximately 1 Hz.

The work is simple: When turned on, the capacitor begins to charge to the breakdown voltage of the lamp. As soon as the lamp flashes, the voltage on the condenser will begin to drop until the lamp goes out. Then the cycle repeats.

Flash LED flasher

You will need: Light-emitting diode flashing, capacitor 22 uF 16 V, resistor 100 kOhm, diode 1N4007.
Let's take it Light-emitting diode and solder it parallel to the capacitor. Cathode to minus.

Job: a conventional rectifier is assembled on a diode, transistor and capacitor, which are powered by a flash Light-emitting diode. The flash generator is located inside the flash itself LED, they are not uncommon and can be purchased at most radio stores. Or on AliExpress -
