With the arrival of spring came various viruses. This spring, due to the pandemic, a special rush is caused by a shortage of medical masks, antibacterial agents for external use, and antiviral drugs. It’s good if all this can still be bought at local pharmacies, even for triple the price, but more often than not, these things and drugs are simply not available. If you can make masks yourself (fortunately, there are more than enough master classes on this topic today!), then you cannot prepare antiviral agents yourself. However, you can make a simple antibacterial gel substitute for daily use yourself. And it will be no less effective than the pharmacy one. I am going to demonstrate at least a couple of manufacturing options for different conditions in this master class.
Will need
For option 1:
- Water.
- Wood ash.
- Cologne or perfume (your choice).
- Measuring cup.
- Tea spoon.
- Any tube filled with cotton wool (as a filter).
- Clean containers for the final product (bottle or spray).
For option 2:
- Vodka.
- Glycerol.
- Dish detergent.
- Cologne or perfume.
- Dishes for mixing and a spoon.
- And also a small sprayer for the finished product.
Production of antiseptics. Option 1
The first method is unlikely to be suitable for residents of city apartments, because it will require wood ash. Unless you get some ash somewhere... So, first you need to dilute and infuse wood ash. Why exactly ash? Because water infused with ash contains a large amount of alkali, which bacteria are afraid of like fire. For 250 ml of water, add 5 teaspoons of ash, sifted through a fine sieve.
Maybe with a slide. It doesn’t matter what kind of wood the wood will be. You can even burn chipboard, fiberboard, and other wood materials. The main thing is that it is a tree. After stirring, leave this mixture for three hours. During this time, the ash will settle to the bottom.
Next, carefully so as not to stir up the sediment, pour it through a cotton filter into an empty container.
Add cologne as a fragrance. Mix again and pour into any container that is convenient to use.
If you are a supporter of gels, then you can purchase gelling agents at the pharmacy and add them to the resulting mixture. I don't see the need for this. This mixture can be used as needed, as many times as you like.
It has no harm or side effects, with the exception of individual intolerance. I am, of course, not a biologist, but as far as I know, alkali has a very detrimental effect on most known bacteria, microbes, and viruses. And in this concentrate there is so much alkali that a small amount smeared on your hands is enough to kill almost all the infection.In the end, even a pharmacological gel, which consists only of alcohol and gelling agents with fragrance, does not provide complete sterility.
Option 2
The second method will help you make the simplest antiseptic, having at least the skinniest first aid kit at home. The ingredients are the simplest and most affordable. Pour 40-50 ml of vodka or any other strong alcohol into a shot glass or glass.
Add 5-7 drops of cleaning product there.
It is designed to degrease the surface of the skin, since an oily surface is favorable for the growth of bacteria. At the same time, these few drops diluted in alcohol do not pose any harm to skin health. Next, add glycerin to the mixture.
About one teaspoon. It will soften the skin and prevent it from drying out after treatment with alcohol. Mix.
Well, and at the end, again as a fragrance, add perfume or cologne.
Mix, pour into a convenient container, and enjoy for your health!
Although this second option is easier to make, I personally prefer the first method - it contains less chemicals.
These remedies, of course, will not fully protect the body, just like real farocological remedies, but still, it’s better than nothing at all!
