In the past, I always peeled the garlic cloves using a knife, cutting off the back. I've changed my approach and now do it without a knife. Take a garlic bulb and remove the peel. This is done simply.
You can immediately break the onion in half and the cloves will separate on their own.
Take a clove.
It's very dense. And you can’t just split it with your nails. Here is the trick: you just need to squeeze the clove with your fingers. Usually one hand is enough, but if not, you can use both.
As a result, the slice cracks. And now the peel can be easily removed.
