Idea 1: Hand washing machine
This homemade product will allow you to wash things more easily than by hand, although it involves a manual drive. It will require a bucket and a plunger. A hole is drilled in the lid of the bucket 1-2 mm wider than the diameter of the plunger handle.
Then you need to make a perforation in the rubber part of the plunger.
By pouring water into a bucket and pouring powder into it, you can wash things by whisking them with a plunger in a back-and-forth motion. The lid will prevent water from splashing out.
Idea 2: Portable Air Filter
To reduce the amount of suspended matter in the indoor air, you can assemble an air filter. To do this, perforation is made in the bucket with a 20-40 mm crown. A hole is cut in its cover for the fan housing.
After this, a filter mat is secured from inside the bucket and a fan is installed in the lid, blowing outward.Thus, the flow sucked into the filter will leave dust on the mat, and clean air can come out.
Idea 3: Camping sink
To make a sink, you will need 2 buckets. One will serve as the body, and the bottom of the second will serve as the sink itself. The system will be equipped with two spouts. One can operate from the internal water supply in the sink, and the second from an external tank.
On top of the side of the bucket there are 2 ganders made of PVC pipes and elbows. To spray water, they are closed with perforated plugs. One spout is connected with a hose to the aquarium pump. That, in turn, is placed on the bottom of the bucket, where you will need to pour water. The second spout is equipped with an outlet to the outside for connection to an external water source.
Then the cut bottom of the second bucket is inserted into the bucket with the ganders. A hole is drilled in it and a pipe with a hose is inserted to drain the wastewater. The hose is led outside the washbasin. Thus, the sink can operate when the pump is turned on by supplying water poured into it, or when an external tank is connected to the second gander. In this case, dirty waste will flow out through the drainage.
Idea 4: Thermobox
If you place a large foam pot with a lid in a bucket, you will get a spacious thermal box. Partially filled with ice, you can put drinks or ice cream inside to take them with you on a trip.
Idea 5: Camping Shower
For this idea, you need to solder a stand from PP or glue it from PVC pipes. It consists of 4 vertical tubes with elbows connected to each other by a cross. Plugs are installed on two pipes. The stand is made to match the width and height of the bucket. It is placed in a bucket. Then it is attracted to its walls using ties through pre-drilled holes.
An adapter for a garden hose is installed on one unclosed tube. The second of them is extended by a gander, at the end of which a drilled plug is installed, which serves as a sprayer. A ball valve fits into the spout. The coupling between the stand and the gander must be threaded in order to disassemble the structure for compact storage. This shower can be powered by a pump or tank.
Idea 6: Air conditioning
To make a portable air conditioner, you need to place a foam pot of a suitable size in a bucket and drill 3 holes with a diameter of 50 mm in the assembly. Then pieces of plastic pipe are inserted into them.
After this, you need to cut a hole in the lid of the bucket for the fan. Ice or a cold accumulator is placed inside the foam pot.
Then the fan starts blowing inside the bucket. As a result, the air leaving the tubes will be colder. By directing the flow towards yourself, you can wait out the heat of the day with greater comfort.
Idea 7: 3 in 1 cooler, humidifier and air purifier
To assemble an air conditioner that does not require pre-cooling the cold accumulator or freezing the ice, you need to use a crown to perforate the walls in the upper half of the bucket. Then the inside of its walls are lined with an absorbent mat, and the bucket is filled with water until it is perforated.
An aquarium pump is placed in the water. A hose is connected to it, which must be laid along the upper edge of the mat. Then holes are made in the hose so that the water flows out onto the mat. Its edge is pinched.
The bucket is closed with a lid with a built-in fan. It should blow air out.
This system ensures active evaporation of water from the mat, as a result of which the blown air will be colder than in the room.In addition, this homemade product allows you to humidify dry air and collects dust very effectively.
