This homemade product is simply a godsend for those who like to repair their car themselves. For example, you unscrew some component in the engine, and place the bolts and nuts either under the hood recesses or on an adjacent surface. None of this is serious. The fasteners may simply fly apart and fall under the engine, or worse, on the protection under the engine, where it will be extremely difficult to get it out. All these problems are solved by a magnetic plate, which can be made from a flat tin can.

Wash the tin can with detergent and dry it. We bend and roll the sharp edge with pliers.
We degrease the surface, dry it and paint it with aerosol paint from a can.
On the reverse side we sand the place for installing the magnet.
We apply the jar to the carpet and outline it with a marker.
Cut along the contour with scissors.
We glue neodymium magnets onto super glue.
Although the carpet is self-adhesive, we additionally coat the surface with super glue.
Glue the carpet.
A convenient plate for screws and nuts is ready.
You can attach such a plate anywhere and it will always be at hand.
You can also carry it with you simply by turning it over and putting it on a support.
