After major holidays, wine corks remain. Nobody needs them at all, so they go in the trash. But in vain. Cork corks are an excellent material that allows you to create very beautiful non-trivial crafts. If you want to learn how to make a hot stand, a Christmas tree decoration, stylish decorations and an unusual picture for the kitchen, then this master class is for you.
To work, you will need cork plugs of the shape shown in the photo. They can be cut to length and width. The result is suitable blanks for creating masterpieces.

01. Hot stand


Cut the corks into 1 cm thick circles. This can be easily done with a regular knife or a stationery knife. The main thing is that it is sharp.

Glue 7 flower-shaped blanks. The rounds are perfectly fixed using a heat gun.

Cover the resulting craft around the perimeter with a thin satin ribbon.

02. Jewelry set


To make it, you need to cut the cork into “pockets” 2 mm thick.

Cut out flowers, leaves and small circles from them.

Glue three flowers together, and then attach the centers and leaves to them. And form two flowers separately, as shown in the photo.

Take 11 circles of cork plugs, 1 cm thick.

05. Painting


Cut circles from the very edge of the cork.One side will be slightly rounded.
