To work, you will need cork plugs of the shape shown in the photo. They can be cut to length and width. The result is suitable blanks for creating masterpieces.
01. Hot stand
Cut the corks into 1 cm thick circles. This can be easily done with a regular knife or a stationery knife. The main thing is that it is sharp.
Glue 7 flower-shaped blanks. The rounds are perfectly fixed using a heat gun.
Cover the resulting craft around the perimeter with a thin satin ribbon.
The hot tray is ready. It comfortably holds a cup of warm cocoa.
02. Jewelry set
To make it, you need to cut the cork into “pockets” 2 mm thick.
Cut out flowers, leaves and small circles from them.
Glue three flowers together, and then attach the centers and leaves to them. And form two flowers separately, as shown in the photo.
Cover the blanks with acrylic paints. Paint the petals white, the centers yellow, and the leaves green.
Three flowers will be a pendant, so make a hole in one of the leaves and thread a beautiful ribbon through it. And individual daisies make stunning earrings. This is what the jewelry set looks like.
03. Christmas tree toy
Take 11 circles of cork plugs, 1 cm thick.
Glue them into a triangle. Glue one blank to either side. The result was a miniature Christmas tree.
Paint the triangle with green acrylic paint. This will be the crown. And the bottom circle is a tree trunk, so it should be brown.
Cover the perimeter of the craft with a green thin ribbon. Glue a loop on top.
Decorate each green circle with sequins, half beads or snowflakes.
This toy can be hung on a Christmas tree or just in your room during the holidays.
04. Necklace
For this craft you need to cut a lot of thin circles.
Glue them together to make a blank of the same shape as in the photo.
Paint with silver acrylic paint. Make sure that the sides of the workpiece are also well coated with paint.
Decorate the mugs with half beads and sequins to match the item. Glue knots of silver thread in several places. All decorations are fixed using PVA glue.
All that remains is to make holes along the edge of the workpiece and thread the thread through them. The unusually shaped necklace is ready. It looks very unusual and elegant.
05. Painting
Cut circles from the very edge of the cork.One side will be slightly rounded.
Glue them together into a bunch of grapes.
Cover each berry with purple acrylic paint. Prepare the basis for the painting. To do this, cut out a rectangle from a thick cardboard sheet. Its size should be 18 cm by 22 cm.
Cut the cork plugs in half lengthwise, and also prepare circles 1.5 cm thick.
Cover the edges of the cardboard rectangle with the cork halves. The end result will be a frame.
Place a bunch of grapes in the center. Glue a branch from pieces of cardboard and cut out a leaf from burlap.
It turns out to be a charming picture! It will be an excellent decoration for the wine corner in the kitchen.
