The book is the best present! But you must admit that it is much more pleasant, especially for a loved one, to receive a gift made by yourself. You can put your soul and heart into such a gift, and the most important thing is that it will be unique, creative and unique. Whether it is some kind of decoration: a handbag or a postcard, it will not be like the others. Fantasy and desire are all you need for a successful crafts.

What do you need to make a postcard?

From time immemorial, postcards have played an important role in people's lives, because they are an opportunity to congratulate a person on a holiday, thank them for a service, or simply say hello. In the old days, postcards were incredibly beautiful because they were made with all the soul and were done by hand, i.e. were copyrighted. So why don’t we create our own custom postcard too?
When going to a holiday, a card with wishes and congratulations is always given along with the gift. And if you don’t just buy it, but create it yourself, then it will leave a lasting pleasant impression on a friend or your loved one.A wide variety of materials are suitable for making a postcard: cardboard, paper, fur, beads, lace, various ribbons and many other improvised materials can be incorporated into your craft and make it simply a work of art.
Making a postcard is very simple - the main thing is to start and use your imagination!
Let's try to make a card for dad. And even if he doesn't wear a tie and rarely wears a shirt, he will undoubtedly be very pleased to receive such a card from his son or daughter.

To get started we will need.
1. Colored cardboard.
2. Colored paper.
3. Two buttons.
4. Glue.
5. Scissors.
6. Pencil

Let's start creating a postcard

a) Postcard. Cut a sheet of cardboard in half. We fold the resulting half in half again and get a postcard measuring 10.5 cm by 15 cm.

b) Collar. We retreat 2 cm from the top edge of the postcard and on the first sheet of the postcard we make 2.5 cm cuts on both sides (we will make a collar from them), and on the second sheet of the postcard we need to cut off a 2 cm strip completely. We bend the cut strips at an angle, as shown in the photo, to form a collar.

c) Tie. On colored paper, draw a tie 12 cm long. Carefully glue it, and glue the collar on top. When the glue dries, glue two buttons on the sides of the collar to the collar.

d) Design. After all the details are well fixed, you can write wishes and congratulations for dad inside. Use colored pens or markers for this. The inside of the card can also be decorated with colored beads, butterflies made of colored paper or other decorative elements.

As you can see, to create a postcard you need very little: certain materials, a little time and endless imagination. And the card we just made will captivate any dad.
Even if dad is not a romantic and has little sentimentality in him, he will never remain indifferent when he receives this gift from his baby. This card will be the best gift for dad and will constantly remind you of how much you love and appreciate him.
Let's get to work!
