Hello! Today I will show you how to make a bar stool without nails or glue. We will make all connections using plastic bottles. Plastic bottles can be used as heat shrink. If they are heated, they will shrink in size and join the parts very tightly.

The first thing we need to do is make the top of our bar stool. To do this, I took a pine board 30 cm wide and cut it to 45 cm long. So, the top of the chair will be 30 * 45 cm.

Now I will make legs for the chair. I used 45 * 45mm pine timber with rounded corners. I cut off 4 legs

After that, I clamp them with clamps and sand them a little. This way all 4 legs will be the same length.

Now I will make a frame for the stool. I used a pine board 15 * 150cm.

I cut one corner with a knife. This will make it easier to insert your foot into the plastic.

I heat it up with a hot air gun and cut off the excess parts.

We're almost done! The only thing we need to do is add a leg bar. I used pine board 35 * 18mm.

That's all! The chair is ready!
I'm really surprised how strong the connection using plastic bottles was. The aesthetics could use some more work, but the goal here was different. I was wondering what PET bottles are capable of. So don’t throw them away, get creative and use them in your projects!
Hope you enjoyed it!
