Beautiful, durable and inexpensive furniture - you can’t find something like this now. If you need the same chair, with all these parameters, then you either need to make it completely yourself, or remake your grandfather’s strong chair. The first option is difficult and not everyone can handle it, but anyone can change an old chair from the time of your grandfather or grandmother’s youth. Chairs used to be made to last, but over time the appearance could become unusable, which did not in any way affect its strength. Let's bring youth back to a dull chair.

What we need:
  • old chair;
  • a can of golden paint;
  • 8 screws;
  • metal brush;
  • upholstery fabric.

How we will make the chair beautiful:

1. Unscrew the old screws. They will need to be replaced with new ones, because over time they have become unusable.

3. Shake the paint can thoroughly and coat the chair frame. Strictly adhere to the recommendations for use that are written on the can.The paint sprays heavily, so it is better to use a respirator or medical face mask to avoid paint getting into your body. The area to be painted must either be carefully covered with film so as not to stain it, or painted where traces of paint will be insignificant. The frame must be coated in several layers, allowing each layer to dry thoroughly. The drying time for each paint is individual and depends on the room temperature.

4. You can buy fabric for upholstery or use something from unnecessary things. In our case, these are cushion covers from an old sofa. Remove old upholstery. Cut out the required size of the new cover, stitch it and put it on the seat.
