To cook shawarma, the meat must be fried with constant turning. Usually a purchased electric apparatus is used for this, but the aroma of meat fried in it is inferior to that cooked on coals. To pamper your family and friends with the most delicious shawarma, make an electric charcoal grill.

Grill making process
The valve of the cylinder is cut off with a hand saw, the hole is drilled out, and it is filled with water.
Then you need to cut out a viewing window in its wall.
Next, the handles of the cylinder and the bottom stiffener are cut off.
Then it is stripped of paint. The next step is to make a rotating mechanism. To do this, weld a center in the form of a disk and 3 spokes from a rod into the gear ring. The resulting wheel is drilled. You also need to make a hole in the bottom of the cylinder.
Next, the rotary axis is made.On one side, a piece of profile pipe is welded to its end. A sleeve is placed on the workpiece. The protruding edge of the axle is welded into the wheel.
Now the wheel is inserted with its axle into the bottom of the cylinder from below. Its sleeve is welded from the inside. The seam must be made airtight.
A door is cut out opposite the viewing window. First, one side is cut, and the loops are welded in so that it does not warp later. Next, the latches are welded.
An arc is cut out of sheet steel and welded at the bottom of the door. An arc of the same shape is welded on top, but bent from a rod. Next, you need to weld reinforcement between them in small increments to get grate bars.
A gear is installed on the gear motor from the windshield wipers. Then a mounting plate is made under it and welded to the cylinder so that the engine can rotate the crown. Everything is done the same way as in concrete mixers.
The grill is painted with heat-resistant spray paint. While it is drying, you need to make a meat skewer. It is a stainless steel pin with a support pad at the bottom. Underneath it, it must have a counterpart so that it fits tightly into the profile pipe on the axis of the rotating mechanism.
To use the grill, you need to open the door and fill it with charcoal. It is ignited by the burner and it closes.
Then the skewer with meat is inserted sideways from the viewing window, its top should fit into the hole from the cylinder valve. Then the skewer is aligned and lowered with a pin into the profile pipe on the rotating mechanism.
After this, voltage is applied to the gear motor so that it begins to rotate the meat.
