How to securely connect a wire

The task is to reliably connect two pieces of steel wire so that in the future it can be stretched like a string. Say, when building a fence for livestock or something like that. A simple twist cannot do this, as it will instantly unscrew.

Now you will see a simple life hack to tightly connect the two ends of a steel wire without much effort and make it one whole.

How to securely connect two pieces of steel wire

We measure 10 centimeters of wire from each end and bend it at a right angle using pliers.

Next, we place one corner on the other with an overlap of 1 centimeter and clamp everything with pliers. Now we screw one piece of wire onto another. We start with our hands.

We continue with pliers.

Then turn it over and twist the other side.

We also use pliers.

As a result, you should have a very reliable wire connection that simply cannot be broken.

Now it can be pulled and the connection will not come apart; it will rather break in another place than this twist will come apart.
