Often after washing you can see stains from the powder on things, as it was not rinsed well. The double rinse setting does not always solve the problem. If you are familiar with this problem, then add regular table salt when washing.
Why do experienced housewives add salt when washing?

Salt is loaded into the conditioner compartment. You need to add a little less than 1 tbsp. If there is more salt, then it may remain on the clothes, which is not critical. Adding it to the conditioner compartment allows you to rinse your laundry with a salty solution. This helps preserve the color of the fabric. It washes out less and remains bright and saturated longer. The most important thing is that salt helps rinse out the washing powder.

Connect the machine to hot water and rinsing will be effective. Clothes cannot be rinsed in cold water.

Zeolites, which are used in current powders to soften water instead of phosphates, do not normally rinse out in any water.
Phosphates themselves were water-soluble, and calcium was bound into water-soluble compounds. And zeolite is an insoluble fine gray powder, like cement, that gets stuck tightly in the fabric.

Salt water is an aggressive environment. Damages the inside of the washing machine.
