The process of changing a jammed cartridge
To open the cartridge, you need to grab its halves with two drive belts. One goes to the left, the second to the right, and they are grabbed by hand. You need to squeeze the cartridge with straps and bring your hands down so that it turns. As a result, it unclenches.
If this cartridge constantly jams and needs to be changed, and the fastening screw is no longer grasped with a screwdriver, then it needs to be drilled out with a 6 mm drill. As a result, the screw head can be separated.
Next, a hex key is clamped into the chuck, and the drill is switched to reverse mode so that rotation occurs clockwise. The key needs to be placed under the workbench table top and the drill started.As a result of a short impact, the cartridge will unwind without damaging the gear pair.

Then, holding the drill spindle behind the thread, it is unscrewed using adjustable pliers.
It is important to remember that this is a left-hand thread, so you need to turn it clockwise. After this, you can install a new cartridge.
