Free electricity is the dream of many. Some people get it from solar panels, others build wind generators. As a result, the former have electricity only on sunny days, and the latter on windy days. A more permanent, stable source for energy is streams. If there is one near your site, then you can build a mini hydroelectric power station on it.
Materials:
- Microwave transformers – 4 pcs.;

- magnets from the electric bike motor – 16 pcs.
The process of manufacturing and installation of hydroelectric power stations
To make a generator, you need to prepare 4 transformers removed from microwave ovens. It is necessary to remove the welded plates from their cores. It is enough to cut the seam with a grinder and beat them off.
To make a generator stator, you will need to cut out a square plate on which a rotor with permanent magnets can rotate and the transformer windings will be attached.
The center of the plate is drilled, and a pair of bearings are welded on top behind the outer races.
The shaft is mounted on the bearings. A heavy flywheel is welded onto it.This could be a rotor core from an electric motor or something similar.
Next, you need to cut off the carriage along with the cartridge from the bicycle frame. The leading star should remain on it. The rear sprocket with ratchet and chain are also removed from the bicycle. The latter is welded onto the rotor.
Now you need to weld the transformers onto the base with the shaft, but so that there is a gap between them and the rotor for the magnets. Transformers are welded sideways, turned to the anchor with the side with the previously removed plate.
Now you need to install 16 magnets on the rotor. They are placed in 4 pieces. It is important to alternate polarity between groups.
The rotor with magnets is mounted on bearings. Then you need to weld the rod from the profile pipe to one of the transformers. After this, a carriage is welded to the other end of the rod, and a chain is pulled between the sprockets.
Blades are welded from a profile pipe and thin sheet steel. The tube is welded to the carriage shaft.
Now all that remains is to connect the transformers as shown in the diagram.
Next, we dig a bypass channel near the stream from the main flow, through which water will be released to remove energy. Before it connects with the riverbed, a dam with a small sluice for the sewer pipe is built from brick and mortar in a trench.
Then you need to make a snail from a bucket and sewer pipes. This is necessary so that the water enters the bucket one tube at a time, twists the blades of the hydroelectric power station, and comes out. The generator impeller is inserted into the volute, and the generator itself is fixed to the posts on top. Thus, the electrical component is located away from the wet area.
By opening the gateway, you can make the blades rotate from the flow of water.As a result, a primitive gearbox made from bicycle components will make the rotor rotate quickly. As a result, electricity is generated.
