In modern times, it has become increasingly inconvenient to use wired headphones. And not all smartphones have a connection socket for such wired devices anymore. If you have headphones with high-quality sound lying around, you can easily convert them into wireless ones and connect to any modern device via Bluetooth.

The alteration will not take much time; you will not need knowledge of radio electronics either, just the ability to solder.

You will need the following parts

Everything can be purchased on AliExpress at a very low price:

How to convert wired headphones into wireless ones

Remove the ear pads. Usually they are not secured in any way and are simply removed.

Unscrew the headphone screws. There are also models with latches.

Unsolder the headphone speaker. We also solder the wire going to the second earphone.

We unscrew the headband for easy installation of the module.

The homemade product uses a polymer battery. It already contains a charging and protection board, so it is autonomous in operation.

The circuit of homemade wireless headphones looks extremely simple.

Power is connected to the Bluetooth module through pins 32 (-) and 29 (+). The headphones are not shown in the diagram, but they are connected very simply: the left channel is connected to pins 26 and 27, and the right channel to pins 24 and 25. You can also see the article here for more information about this module - https://enn.washerhouse.com/5309-samodelnyj-bluetooth-priemnik-dlja-domashnej-akustiki.html

We clear the area where the wire was previously attached. Use a soldering iron to remove the plastic ribs.

The hole for the port can be printed on paper and glued, and then burned out with a soldering iron.

We assemble the circuit and solder the wires. The battery can be glued with hot glue.

Solder the second earphone to the module.

We assemble the headphones and screw on the headband.

We assemble the body and screw in the screws.

We put the pads in place.

Now we charge the battery. We turn on the headphones and connect to them, say, from a smartphone and work with them as with a Bluetooth headset.

That's all. Yes, it's that easy to update your headphones.
